Mt. SAC To Allow Hybrid Schedules For Employees: Report
Librarians and counselors for the college will be allowed to work on a hybrid schedule after voicing fears about a surge in COVID-19 cases.

WALNUT, CA — Mt. San Antonio College will no longer require its counselors and librarians to work completely on campus for the upcoming school year, according to a report from the San Gabriel Valley Tribune.
Librarians and counselors were told they had to return to full, in-person work at the college when the new school year starts, according to the Valley Tribune. The college's teaching staff already had an agreement to work a hybrid schedule.
College officials quickly reversed their decision during Wednesday’s Board of Trustees meeting, after multiple librarians and counselors expressed their concerns about the rise in COVID-19 cases plaguing Los Angeles County.
