A Southern California Edison project will affect motorists who use Lemon Avenue. The city of Walnut provided the following construction notice:
The northbound outside lane of Lemon Avenue from Valley Boulevard to Carrey Road will be closed starting Monday, December 2nd through Monday, December 16th.
This will be a full closure, meaning the street will not reopen on a nightly basis. Southern California Edison will be replacing underground equipment and safety precautions for motorists and pedestrians will be taken with the installation of k-rails, traffic control signs, etc.
