Teddy Bear Tea to Fund Teacher Mini-grants in Walnut Unified
The 15th annual Teddy Bear Tea, hosted by the Walnut Valley Educational Foundation, will provide funds for teacher mini-grants for projects under $300.
The Walnut Valley Educational Foundation will send in the teddy bears on April 30 to help raise funds for teacher mini-grants throughout the district.
The organization's 15th annual Teddy Bear Tea at Royal Vista Golf Course will feature a tea, luncheon, a silent and live auction, and a raffle of teddy bears decorated by Diamond Bar and Walnut supporters from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
The bears available during the auction will include those showcasing school spirit — like one bear showing off Brahma gear — and others designed by schools, parents, and clubs throughout the district.
