Westhoff Elementary Presents Season of Love

Hundreds of students take the stage during annual holiday performance

WALNUT, CA--Westhoff Elementary students ushered in the season during the annual Season of Love holiday show on December 15.

Transitional kindergarten through fifth grade students took turns on stage performing festive songs complete with costumes and choreography.

Adorable transitional kindergartners in decorated t-shirts opened the show with “I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas.”

Kindergarteners wearing leis and sunglasses sang “Merry Hula” followed by the first graders’ rendition of “Christmas Conga.”

Second graders performed “Donde Esta Santa Claus” and third graders rocked out to “Reindeer Jive.”

Talented fourth and fifth grade performed “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” and “Holiday in L.A.” featuring gymnastics, scooters, dance, and skateboards.

The Westhoff “Sparkettes” teachers entertained the packed audience during the “Jingle Bell Rock” line dance.

At the conclusion, student council members announced a $2,000 donation to the non-profit Hope in a Suitcase organization benefitting Los Angeles foster children.
