Dixon Police officers arrested three Dixon men and one from Winters after they allegedly beat another man with metal bars

Four men were taken into custody early Thursday morning after they allegedly beat a Dixon man with metal bars.

The Dixon Police Department arrested Ysidro Chico Arismendez, 26, of Winters, David Delatorre Chavez, 26, Derek James Ernst, 21, and Seth Peter Shannon, 22, all of Dixon, on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy to commit a crime; and in Shannon’s case, violation of probation.

The argument centered on a 1995 Buick LeSaber that had allegedly been stolen out of Vacaville Ellefson said. He said Arismendez, Ernst, Shannon and Chavez assaulted the other man, whose name was not released because he is considered a victim of a crime, with metal bars.

“(The) victim received some injuries during the time that they argued over there,” Ellefson said. “They went over there and tried to beat him up.”

Police were called to the scene and after attaining a description of the attackers, went to a home on the 400 block of Miller Court. The officers established a perimeter around the home and brought each of the men outside, where they were arrested without incident

Ellefson said the stolen LeSabre was recovered near the location of the assault. Further details were not available pending an investigation. The four men were taken to the Solano County Jail and were being held each on a bail amount of $25,000.
