Alcohol Likely a Factor in Crash That Killed North Bay Man: CHP
The victim of a single-vehicle crash near Dixon over President's Day Weekend has been identified as Alfredo S. Rodriguez, 44, of Winters.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA -- Alcohol is likely a factor in a single-car crash over President's Day Weekend that left a man dead, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The victim of the single-vehicle crash early on the morning of Feb. 18 near Dixon has been identified as Alfredo S. Rodriguez, 44, of Winters, according to the Solano County coroner's office.
The 1:48 a.m. crash occurred on westbound Interstate Highway 80 near the northbound state Highway 113 transition, the CHP said.

Witnesses said Rodriguez's black BMW went off the highway and crashed into a tree for no apparent reason. He was found unresponsive and pinned in the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:09 a.m.
One lane of the transition road was blocked for more than three hours while Rodriguez was extricated and the vehicle was removed from around the tree, the CHP said.
