There is still time to get your tickets to the The Dixon Chamber of Commerce Family Fun Day BBQ. Start with barbecue ribs and chicken, salad, vegetables and dinner rolls. Add beer, wine, shaved Ice from Ahelis, Sam’s Club Root Beer Floats, Game Booths a dessert auction & more. Finish it off with a raffle, dunk tank, face painting, horseshoes, jump house, water slide and dancing to the music of the Baja Boyz. That is a recipe for a great time, and the Dixon District Chamber of Commerce is promising just that at its family fundraiser Aug. 18 at Jess Jones Vineyard in Dixon. All activities are included in the ticket price. The event will be 3-9 p.m. at 6496 Jones Lane.
The vineyard is located off of Highway 113 just south of Midway Road. Buckhorn Bar & Grill will cater the dinner. Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors and $10 for children ages 12 and younger.5 and under free. A family deal is $60 for two adults and two children ages 17 and younger. 5 & under free.
