The Governmental Affairs Committee of the Dixon District Chamber of Commerce will host its annual State of the City Address on Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011, at 7:30 a.m. in the Senior Multi-Use Center located at 201 S. 5th Street (next to City Hall).
Speakers include Mayor Jack Batchelor Jr.; Community Development Director Dave Dowswell; Chief of Police Jon Cox; Economic Development Director Mark Heckey; City Manager Nancy Huston; Dixon Unified School District Superintendent Roger Halberg; and Gregg Atkins of the Dixon Public Library.
The State of the City Address will be catered by the Firehouse Bistro. Breakfast includes bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes, pastries, coffee, tea and juice. The cost to attend this event is $20 per person and is payable in advance to the Dixon Chamber of Commerce. The deadline to register is Monday, Feb 14, 2011.
