City of Dixon Has Several Commission Vacancies

 The City of Dixon is currently accepting applications for:

Three vacancies on the Planning Commission.  The Planning Commission is an advisory body to the City Council on matters pertaining to planning and land use.  Commissioners serve four-year terms, with a maximum of two consecutive terms.  The Commission meets in Dixon at 7:00 p.m. on the third Tuesday of every month.  City residency is required.

Two vacancies on the Parks and Recreation Commission.  The Parks and Recreation Commission is an advisory body to the City Council on matters pertaining to recreation and park facilities.  Commissioners serve two-year terms, with a maximum of three consecutive terms.  The commission meets in Dixon at 7:00 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every odd month.  City Residency is required.

Three vacancies on the Transportation Advisory Commission (TAC).  The Transportation Advisory Commission is an advisory body to the City Council on matters relating to traffic, transportation, and transit.  Commissioners serve four-year terms, with a maximum of two consecutive terms.  The TAC meets in Dixon at 7:00 p.m. on the third Wednesday of even-numbered months.   City residency is required.
