
Residents in the unincorporated area of Solano County can get in the know on issues of importance to rural residents by attending an upcoming community meeting.
The organized portion of the meetings will feature presentations from representatives from Solano Countyβs Department of Resource Management on such topics as the tire amnesty program, code enforcement, vehicle abatement, building code changes.Β Representatives from the Sheriffβs Office and local fire districts will make presentations.
βThis outreach effort is to provide the unincorporated area residents with current information on the various programs that are unique to them,β said David ClichΓ©, Solano County Chief Building Official.

All community meetings are from 6:30 to 8 p.m.Β Meeting dates and locations are:
- Thursday, Sept. 15 at the County Administration Center, Room 1610, 675 Texas St. in Fairfield.
- Thursday, Oct. 20 at the Vacaville Fire District (Vacaville Station), 420 Vine St in Vacaville
