One of Dixon's oldest businesses will couple with one of their newest for this year's annualΒ Holiday Mixer on Wednesday, Dec. 15. First Northern Bank and DixonPatch.com will be the co-hosts at the Dixon Chamber of Commerce, 220 North Jefferson, 5:30 β 7 p.m. at the Train Depot.
The bank is celebrating its "100 Year Anniversary" and the new online newspaper brought by America On Line (AOL) called DixonPatch.com just went live in November. Dixon Patch's Sandy O'Dea and several regular contributors such as Debra Dingman and Bil Paul will be onhand at this mixer to meet and talk about Dixon's newest online news and information resource.
This is the last mixer of the year and the Chamber President Jack Caldwell of California Water expects a large turn out for the annual event.

"This is one of the many ways the Dixon Chamber assists its members and community," said Caldwell about the monthly networking opportunities. New businesses are given opportunities to introduce themselves and regular members are given a moment to announce upcoming promotions for their business or organization.
There will be refreshments, give-aways, and door prizes. Attendees are encouraged to bring business cards to exchange. Β The event is free and dress is business casual. For more information, call COC Office Manager Carol Pruett at (707) 678-2650 or go to www.DixonPatch.com
