SOLANO COUNTY, CA β Enjoy two walks on the wild side this weekend!Β This Saturday from 10am to 1pm, take a hike with naturalist and birder Jim Walsh at Lynch Canyon.Β See for yourself why it was named one of the βSeven (hidden) wonders of the Westβ by Sunset Magazine.Β Meet in the parking lot at 10am.
Then this Sunday from 10am to noon, join a guided walk at Lake Solano.Β Travel the same paths as Native Americans and pioneers did in earlier times; get a closer look at the plants and trees that take root in the rich soils; look for bugs, turtles, and birds; search for evidence of beavers, otters, deer and foxes; and watch fish swim in the aquariums.Β Meet in the courtyard next to the Nature Center at 10am.
