Grand Opening Slated at Nana’s Children’s Boutique

Prizes and special children’s entertainment will be part of the Grand Opening for on Thursday, April 19, starting at 10 a.m. with an official Chamber Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.

Debra Dingman, who owned Tots Trade Center then Just Kidding children’s stores in Davis for seven out of its 23 years opened the downtown Dixon location last month.

“We are very pleased with the turn out of customers so far and are really happy to be in downtown Dixon,” said Dingman, who is also a childbirth educator and Bradley Doula. At her store, she offers free early pregnancy classes and a bi-weekly children’s story time.

“So far the story times are having an excellent turn out of children as well as the Early Pregnancy Class and our classes will help us thrive in our small town,” she said, noting that the first 8-week natural childbirth course will begin the week of their grand opening. 

The will do an official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 10 a.m. and there will be coffee and pastries brought by KUIC 95.3. Special children’s entertainment by ‘Music by Suzanne’ will be presented at 4 p.m. along with refreshments and prizes.

“I heard Suzanne sing to children at Dixon Farmer’s Market last summer and knew she’d be a perfect fit for our Grand Opening celebration,” said Dingman. “The children loved her!” There will also be an opportunity to enter a drawing for a $100.00 scholarship to go toward a childbirth education course offered at the shop.

Dingman’s store is the only store in the area that sells gently-used maternity clothes and nursing wear. The store also offers new and gently-used children’s clothing, toys, books, and baby gear. For more information go to www.NanaAndCompany.com or call (707) 678-Nana.
