Tickets Available for May 22 'Birds, Berries & Bouquets'

A Celebration of Farmland Conservation

The Yolo Land Trust announces tickets are still available for its spring event – β€œBirds, Berries & Bouquets” – a Sunday afternoon celebration of the conservation work of the Yolo Land Trust.Β  This fundraiser will be held May 22, 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Hedgerow Farms, 21740 County Road 88, north of County Road 27 between Winters and Madison in Yolo County.Β  Tickets are $30.Β  Bring a friend for $10.

Birds, Berries & Bouquets participants will enjoy β€œStrawberry Tres Leches Shortcake” prepared by Tucos Wine Market & CafΓ© of Davis, strawberry ice cream from Vic’s Ice Cream of Sacramento and Yolo County wines from Simas Family Vineyard, Route 3 Wines, Marr Cellars and Rominger West.

Music will be provided by Davis Jazz Combo and there will be a raffle of Yolo County food.

Walking tours of Hedgerow Farms by John Anderson will allow guests to view native plant assemblages and the wide variety of birds, native pollinators and other beneficial insects that are attracted to this unique and beautiful farm.Β  All are encouraged to bring binoculars and friends to enjoy the bouquets of spring in the country.
