'Bless You' Nothing to Sneeze At in One Vacaville Classroom

A Will C Wood teacher has come under fire for disciplinary action taken against students for saying "Bless you," in response to a sneeze the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

According to the Chronicle, Will C. Wood health teacher Steve Cuckovich disciplined his students for disrupting the class by overenthusiastically responding to sneezes with a loud chorus of "Bless you." 

The student who sneezed would then thank everyone individually, according to the Chronicle. The teacher reportedly began docking students' grades for saying "Bless you" in response to sneezes, drawing outcry from parents.

And while the district investigates the incidents, they have reportedly been getting a lot of hate mail.

Meanwhile, Cuckovich will continue to issue demerits for unruly behavior inside his classroom according to the story.
