Brush Fire Burning East Of Vacaville

SOLANO COUNTY, CA — A three-alarm vegetation fire is burning in rural Solano County east of Vacaville this afternoon, fire officials said. The fire in the area of Hawkins Road and state Highway 113 was reported around 4 p.m., Dixon Fire Department employee Emily Lewis said. The fire initially posed a potential threat to structures in the area, she said.

The Dixon and Vacaville fire departments, Vacaville Fire Protection District and University of California at Davis Fire Department also responded to the vegetation fire, Lewis said.
