Deadly Dixon Shooting: Police Arrest Teen, Seek More Suspects
A Sacramento teen has been arrested in the shooting at a July 20 party that left 38-year-old Mario Yokoi dead and another man wounded.

DIXON, CA — Dixon police have arrested a juvenile from Sacramento in connection with an attempted murder at a party on July 21. The 17-year-old boy was in custody in Sacramento County on an unrelated charge and he was booked in the Solano County Juvenile Hall Tuesday for attempted murder and robbery.
Police responded around midnight July 20 to a shooting in the 1300 block of Bello Drive. They found a large crowd and two men with gunshot wounds lying in the street.
An argument escalated to a fight in the backyard of the residence, police said. An unidentified 43-year-old man was shot in the leg when he tried to stop the fight, and he was shot at least two more times when he ran
out into the street.

Mario Yokoi, 38, of Dixon was fatally shot when he confronted the group he thought was involved in the fight, police said.
The suspects fled on Folsom Downs Circle toward Valley Glen Drive, police said.

Police said the incident is still under investigation and they are seeking additional suspects.
