Deputy Busts Driver With Meth: Solano County Sheriff's Office

The bust was made during a traffic stop near Vacaville, sheriff's officials say.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA — A Solano County sheriff's deputy arrested a man Monday who was allegedly found with narcotics hidden inside his vehicle. On Monday afternoon a deputy saw a vehicle roll through a stop
sign on Rice Lane in an unincorporated area of Vacaville. The deputy pulled over the vehicle and contacted the driver, identified as 55-year-old Brian Crowley. He was on active probation with search terms, sheriff's officials said.

The deputy searched Crowley's vehicle and allegedly found nearly a pound of methamphetamine and evidence of drug sales hidden inside the car, sheriff's officials said.

Crowley was arrested on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine with the intent to sell and for violating his probation terms, sheriff's officials said.
