Police: Dixon Man Performed Lewd Acts on Children 'Over the Last 11 Years'

Dixon police arrested a 34-year-old man on Saturday who they say performed lewd acts with children in Dixon and Vacaville for more than a decade, according to the Dixon Police Department. 

Dixon resident Corey Wilkins, 34, was arrested for numerous counts of Lewd Acts Upon a Child.

"This investigation uncovered criminal activity occurring over the last 11 years in both the City of Dixon and the City of Vacaville," according to the department. He was "booked into the Solano County Jail on numerous felony charges."

A bail enhancement was obtained and Mr. Wilkins is being held on $500,000 bail.

"Wilkens was a local music teacher," according to Dixon Police Chief Jon Cox. "He was not a Dixon Unified teacher but had his own private business. At this time, none of his students or former students are reported victims."
