Fire Displaces Seven People in Fairfield
A residential fire caused more than $50,000 and has seven people displaced from their home.

FAIRFIELD, CA- Seven people have been displaced after a residential fire in Fairfield Sunday evening, according to fire officials.
Fire officials said crews responded to 2078 Bristol Lane at 6:26 p.m. on reports of flames coming from a home. Upon arrival, firefighters said there were flames in the kitchen and the attic area of the house.
Fire crews were able to contain the fire to the kitchen and attic, both of which sustained major heat and smoke damage, according to fire officials. Fire officials said the rest of the home sustained smoke damage.

The fire caused an estimated $50,000 in damage to the home and its contents. The American Red Cross responded to the scene to assist the family with temporary housing, fire officials said.
No injuries were reported.
