Home Burglar Flees Police, Then Gets Arrested on Spousal Battery & Assault With Deadly Weapon Charges

Moses Alfred Luna was arrested on prior charges of Felony Spousal Battery, Assault with Deadly Weapon, Resisting Arrest, and Possession of Narcotics Paraphernalia.

 

Dixon Police received a report of a residential burglary on the 400 block of West E. Street around 1:25 Thursday morning. 

The suspect matched the description of wanted felony domestic violence suspect, Moses Alfred Luna, 33, according to the Dixon Police Department.

The suspect was seen removing items through the backyard. By the time police arrived, the vehicle and its passengers were gone. 

About a half hour later, police were called back to the area. This time they encountered Luna, who fled on foot. 

He was apprehended by officers in a backyard on North Washington Street and booked into the Solano County Jail on the prior charges of Felony Spousal Battery, Assault with Deadly Weapon, Resisting Arrest, and Possession of Narcotics Paraphernalia.
