Updated: Homicide Reported Sunday Night In Dixon

SOLANO COUNTY - Solano County sheriff's deputies are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred east of Dixon on Sunday night.

Shortly after 11:30 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a possible break-in and stabbing in the 8400 block of Wild Rose Lane and arrived to find a man dead inside a home, according to the sheriff's office.

The man's identity is not yet being released.

Investigators believe the victim was targeted but were not immediately releasing any suspect information.

DIXON - Deputies are currently investigating a homicide that occurred shortly after 11:30 p.m. Sunday night in the 8400 block of Wild Rose Lane, Dixon.

According to a Facebook post, detectives are processing the scene and working to confirm the victim's identity (adult male) and notify next of kin.

It is still early in the investigation and no suspect(s) has been identified at this time.
