House Fire Displaces Vacaville Family Of 7
Firefighters from Dixon, Vacaville and the California Medical Facility responded to the blaze early Thursday.
VACAVILLE, CA — A two-alarm fire displaced four adults and three children from their home in Vacaville early Thursday morning, a Vacaville Fire Department battalion chief said. A neighbor reported the fire burning in an addition to the home in the 1000 block of Callen Street around 2:30 a.m., Battalion Chief Greg Mahlberg said.
The family escaped the burning single-story residence before firefighters arrived, Mahlberg said.
Fallen power lines in front of the house complicated the fire response but the blaze was controlled by 3:07 a.m., Mahlberg said.
