One person was fatally injured in a vehicle collision near Vacaville in Solano County early this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision near the intersection of Pleasant Valley Road and Foothill Drive was reported at about 4:52 a.m.
According to the CHP, there were at least two occupants in the vehicle and one person was declared deceased at the scene of the collision.
The name of the deceased has not been released and the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
