Police Warn Community About ATM Robberies
Two robberies at local ATMs prompt the Vacaville Police Department to caution residents.

Vacaville police are looking for suspects who robbed two men at an ATM machine on Peabody Road in the last two weeks.
On Tuesday at around 9:45 p.m., a man was robbed at gunpoint as he withdrew money from the Wells Fargo ATM at 1979 Peabody Road, Sgt. Dave Marsh said.
The suspect was described by the victim as a black male adult in his late teens, 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet with a thin build. He was wearing a dark-colored hoodie sweatshirt and dark colored pants. Marsh said.

The suspect ran off toward Southwood Drive, evading a search by police and a K-9 unit, Marsh said. On April 10, a man was robbed at gunpoint around 8:55 p.m. as he withdrew money from the same ATM, Marsh said.
The victim said the robber was a Hispanic male adult in his late teens to early 20s. He was wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt and black baseball cap, Marsh said.

A second suspect who assisted the robber was wearing a light colored hoodie sweatshirt, Marsh said. Police are advising residents to be extra cautious when withdrawing money from ATM machines, especially those outdoors. Anyone with information about the robberies is asked to call (707) 449-5200.
