SELPA Honors Educators, Youths, Community Members For Outstanding Service
Solano County's Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) honored many individuals, including third grade teacher Melissa Glide and paraeducator Maria Conrad.

Educators, youth, and community members who work with special education students were recognized by the Solano SELPA for their outstanding service on April 17.
Awards for outstanding service to students with special needs were presented to one person from each school district within the Solano County Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA): Benicia Unified, , Fairfield-Suisun Unified, Travis Unified, Vacaville Unified, and the Solano County Office of Education.
Additionally, one community organization representative who has shown dedication to the support of individuals with special needs and a young student who has achieved academic success despite their special needs were honored.
