Solano County Resident ID'd As Motorcyclist Killed In Crash With Alleged Drunk Driver
A driver who died in a collision with a suspected drunk driver on eastbound Interstate Highway 80 has been identified as a Vacaville man.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA -- A motorcyclist who died in a collision with a suspected drunk driver on eastbound Interstate Highway 80 in Richmond early Saturday morning has been identified by the Contra Costa County coroner's office as a Solano County man.
Donald Fitch, 58, of Vacaville, died in a crash that happened at about 1:40 a.m. May 13 on Highway 80 near Cutting Boulevard, according to the coroner's office.
CHP officers were on eastbound Highway 80 when they saw a Toyota Highlander speeding at about 100 mph. The officers tried to catch up with the SUV when they saw it hit a motorcyclist later identified as Fitch, according to the CHP.

The driver of the SUV, who the CHP identified as 31-year-old Suisun City resident Kevin Paredes-Orozco, allegedly did not stop so officers pulled him over.
The officers said that Paredes-Orozco was allegedly under the influence of alcohol and arrested him.
