Missing Vacaville Woman Found Safe
The Vacaville woman who went missing yesterday was found safe in the back yard of an Allendale resident's home

Update 11:53 a.m.: The missing Vacaville woman was just found in the back yard of an Allendale resident's home, Sheriff's Lt. Gary Faulkner said.
The resident called the Sheriff's Department and told deputies that Storme Palmer, who went missing Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. from her Allendale home, was in his back yard.
Sheriff's deputies went to the home and found Palmer safe. Palmer is being transported to a local hospital to be medically cleared Faulker said. At this point, the Sheriff's Department has yet to determine if there was anything suspicous about Palmer's disappearance.

Update 11:30 a.m.: The Solano County Sheriff's Department is conducting a massive search-and-rescure operation for a developmentally disabled Vacaville woman who went missing last night.
On Tuesday around 3:30 p.m., the Sheriff's Department received a call that Storme Palmer, 20, went missing in the Allendale area north of Vacaville.

Solano deputies established a command post in the area to coordinate a variety of resources involved in the search effort. The deputies began an extensive search in the area in attempt to locate Palmer, according to the Sheriff's department.
Palmer is descrived as a white female, 5 feet 2 inches tall, 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, last seen wearing a gray sweat shirt and black pants when she walked away from the residence. Palmer resides at a group home in the area, the Sheriff's Department said. A City Watch message was sent out to the surrounding area within a 2-mile radius asking for residents to be aware of the missing person.
The initial search by deputies failed to locate Palmer in the immediate area and the Solano County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue Team (SAR) was activated at approximately 4:45 PM.
The Solano County Search and Rescue operation consisted of eight teams and a total of 30 personnel. Search and rescue teams utilized two tracking dog teams from California Rescue Dog Association (CARDA,) all terrain vehicle teams, and ground searchers to blanket the area in an attempt to locate Palmer.
A CAL STAR helicopter also assisted during the search using night vision from the air. The American Red Cross also responded and provided hot meals and beverages to the volunteers.
The search continued throughout the night for Palmer and as of 7:15 AM this morning Palmer has not been located and the search operation was continuing utilizing all resources available.
