The deputies are asking for your help. They'd like you to snap a photo of disrespected - and now dangerous - traffic signs you're familiar with and send the shots their way. You can share the photos here on the sheriff's Facebook page with a brief location description. Simple as that.
The Solano deputies say they will forward the pictures they receive as evidence to the appropriate city or county agency for repairs when possible.

Deputies are also asking for pictures of burned-out street lights and damaged guardrails you might know about.
The Solano sheriff's posting states:
"A community in disrepair can be seen as a community that doesnβt care and as a target for criminals. We know that is simply NOT the case here in βͺ#βSolanoβ¬ County."

Do you live in the unincorporated county area and have concerns about damaged traffic signs or burnt out street lamps? Maybe you have seen a damaged portion of guardrail in need of repair or road markings that need repainted. A community in disrepair can be seen as a community that doesnβt care and as a target for criminals. We know that is simply NOT the case here in βͺ#βSolanoβ¬ County. We have a great community that DOES care! Letβs work together to clean up our neighborhoods and show criminals the partnership between law enforcement and our community is stronger than crime.
As part of our on-going neighborhood watch and βͺ#βcommunityβ¬ βͺ#βpartnershipβ¬, Deputy Boyd and Deputy Greenhagen have begun to identify and compile a list of damaged, vandalized, and broken traffic safety signs. We have already had ten (yes 10!!) street lamps repaired or replaced as a result. Please snap a photo of and message us with any areas of concern so we can work with city or county public works as applicable to get the damage fixed. Please SHARE and help us spread the word.
