Three Arrested for Allegedly Possessing Drugs, Firearm After Hours-Long Search

2 Vallejo residents, 1 Vacaville arrested taken into custody

Police arrested three people after a car stop in Vacaville Friday night, including two men who fled the scene immediately after the car was pulled over, Vacaville police said.

The car was stopped in the 500 block of Alamo Drive at about 8:10 p.m. and two men left the car and ran away. The driver, 20-year-old Brandy Bouman from Vacaville, was left behind.

Police searched Bouman and the car, and allegedly found a small amount of methamphetamine on her and a loaded shotgun in the car. Bouman is a convicted felon and prohibited from possessing firearms, police said.

Police then set up a perimeter around the surrounding area to search for the two men who fled. Police found 42-year-old Vallejo resident Robert White on nearby Grandview Court within minutes and took him into custody after a brief foot chase.

White, who is also a convicted felon, was one of the men who fled from the car, according to police. After searching him, officers found he was allegedly carrying a small amount of methamphetamine.

Despite help from a California Highway Patrol helicopter, police did not locate the third suspect and left the area.

An undercover detective from the Vacaville Police Department's narcotics team remained in the area in an unmarked vehicle.

Approximately one hour later, around 10:45 p.m., the detective saw a man walking south on Alamo Drive near Grandview Court.

The detective also noticed a silver Dodge Intrepid driving back and forth on Alamo Drive that appeared to be looking for someone. The detective then saw the car pick up the man.

The detective reported the information to uniformed officers, who stopped the car. Police detained 46-year-old Vallejo resident Christopher Miller and identified him as the man who had fled from the vehicle earlier.

Miller was wanted on a parole violation warrant, and had two outstanding drug violation warrants in Solano County.

Officers determined that the driver of the car that picked Miller up did not know that Miller was wanted, and she was allowed to leave.

Bouman was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and an outstanding Solano County warrant. White was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest and possession of methamphetamine.

Miller was arrested on suspicion of violating his parole and the two other drug-related warrants.

All three were arrested on suspicion of being felons in possession of a firearm and booked into Solano County Jail.
