Emergency crews are on the scene of a train accident that took the life of a pedestrian. The accident was called in shortly after 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, and emergency crews pronounced the individual dead on arrival. The accident took place near the intersection of Peabody Road and Cement Hill Road in Fairfield. No further information was available at the time of this posting.
