Special to Dixon Patch
During the last three meetings, the Photography Project from Tremont 4-H were busy taking many different pictures. They said it very interesting to go to three different cemeteries to take pictures of head stones from the early 1800s. The group also took still-life photos and learned about shadows and lighting.
At the last photography meeting, the group took a field trip to Stevenson’s Bridge. They had fun skipping across the bridge together. Then they took pictures of the Graffiti which covers the bridge. They found it artistically interesting, but sad because of the defacing of property and the garbage that people leave behind.

It is interesting to note that the Club was already in the process of planning a Community Service Project to help remove graffiti in Dixon. They are looking forward to this project.
Next month the project members are planning a trip out to the Happy Ranch to take pictures of all the animals. The Project Leader, Alisa Ramirez, said to tell everyone, “Don’t forget to look for their pictures at the Dixon Mayfair!”
