(UPDATE) Sheriffs: $570K in Marijuana Seized After Violent Rural Home Invasion

Following last night's violent home invasion in rural Vacaville, police find nearly $600,000 in marijuana in the victims' house.

Detectives with the Solano County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Bureau are continuing to follow up on leads regarding the home invasion and robbery of a residence in the 5100 block of Poplar Road in Solano County. Late last night, four armed and masked subject forced entry into the residence and bound the five occupants. The masked subjects demanded specific items from the occupants and eventually shot one of the occupants and beat two others. 
 
Detectives obtained a search warrant for the victim’s residence and later served the signed search warrant at the victim’s residence. Evidence related to the home invasion and shooting was collected.
 
Detectives also located approximately 110 pounds of processed marijuana with a street value of approximately $250,000.00 and 107 marijuana plants that were valued at $321,000.00. The total value of marijuana seized from within the residence had an estimated street value of approximately $570,750.00.
 
Detectives are continuing to speak with the five victims who were in the residence at the time of the incident and are developing leads and attempting to identify the four suspects. Detectives are looking for four men, 2 white and 2 black that were seen leaving the area in a late 90’s or early 2000’s silver Toyota Camry.
