Vacaville Man, 74, Dies After Crash
BREAKING: Vacaville police are seeking witnesses and trying to determine if the man suffered a medical emergency in Tuesday's collision.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA — Vacaville police are investigating whether a vehicle collision is what caused the death of a 74-year-old Vacaville man late Tuesday morning. Anthony Costello was turning his red Nissan left from Marshall Road onto northbound Alamo Drive around 11:50 a.m. when a white Toyota driving south on Alamo Drive by Brie Eaton, 18, of Vacaville, struck the driver's side of the Nissan, police Lt. Mark Donaldson said.
Costello was taken to Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Center where he died during treatment, Donaldson said. An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday. Eaton's family took her to the Kaiser hospital.
Costello may have suffered a medical emergency before the collision, said Donaldson. He added that Eaton said she had a green light at the four-way controlled intersection.

"Clearly one of them ran through a red light. That's what we're trying to determine."
Police are looking for any video of the collision taken by cameras at businesses in the area. Speed, impairment and distraction are not believed to be factors in the collision, according to Donaldson.
