Vacaville Police Identify Couple Found Dead in Murder-Suicide
The bodies of Erik Mesick and Jerrica Chou were found Tuesday afternoon in a vehicle parked in front of an east Vacaville home.

Police have identified a couple who died in an apparent murder-suicide in Vacaville on Tuesday as 47-year-old Erik Mesick and 40-year-old Jerrica Chou.
Police believe Mesick, a Vacaville resident, shot Chou in the head with a gun he had purchased a few days earlier, then shot and killed himself.

Chou, who lived in Vallejo, had been dating Mesick for a "short period of time," police said.
Officers responded to reports of gunshots in the 100 block of Arroyo Court shortly before 3 p.m. Tuesday and found Mesick and Chou in a vehicle with fatal gunshot wounds.

Neither had any history of domestic violence, and the case remains under investigation, police said.
Mesick's Facebook profile lists his relationship status as "engaged."
