Winters Resident ID'd As Pedestrian Struck, Killed On I-505
The 31-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Solano County Coroner's Office.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA — The Solano County coroner's office has identified a pedestrian who died after he was struck by a vehicle on Interstate Highway 505 north of Vacaville early Sunday morning as Christopher Mendoza, 31, of Winters.
Mendoza was struck by a Ford Expedition in the No. 2 lane of southbound I-505 north of Midway Road in unincorporated Solano County around 2:20 a.m., said California Highway Patrol Officer David Harvey.
The Oakley resident who was driving the Ford stopped at the scene, Harvey said.

Mendoza was hit by another vehicle after he was struck by the Ford, CHP officials said Sunday. Harvey said Monday morning Mendoza possibly was hit by another vehicle that didn't stop at the scene.
Mendoza was pronounced dead at 2:41 a.m. Sunday, according to the coroner's office.
