Cycle of Hope has raised close to $2 million since its inception, according to organizers. It benefits Habitat for Humanity, which is facing government cuts and currently building homes in Hayward, Walnut Creek, and San Jose.

“Anyone who lives in the Bay Area can feel the housing crisis in their life, and Cycle of Hope offers a tangible way to take action,” said Janice Jensen, President and CEO of Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley. “Cycle of Hope riders have seen whole communities come to fruition and lives altered as a result of their efforts, and this year, the impact will be felt even more deeply.”
