Dublin Pride Week Set For April 26 - May 3
Dublin residents are encouraged to take part in the annual week promoting volunteerism, environmental awareness, and civic engagement.
DUBLIN, CA — Dublin has a lot to be proud of, and it's celebrating all of them during Dublin Pride Week, a week devoted to volunteerism and environmental awareness. The week centers around Volunteer Day on Saturday, April 26, but there will be events all week promoting civic pride and engagement.
Senior Center Volunteer Bag Stuffing Party
Wednesday, April 23. 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Dublin Senior Center, 7600 Amador Valley Boulevard

Senior community members are invited to create gift bags for Volunteer Day participants. Free pastries and coffee will be served.

Saturday, April 26. 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Emerald Glen Amphitheater, 4201 Central Parkway.
Community members can give back to the community through a number of volunteer projects, including cleaning up parks, trails, and schools, planting trees, and more. Volunteer Day will begin with breakfast and a kick-off rally, and end with a community barbecue at Emerald Glen Park. Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Household Hazardous Waste Collection
Saturday, May 3. 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. by appointment only. Zeiss Innovation Center, 5300 Central Parkway.

Children's Emergency Food Bank Drive
Food donation receptacles will be available outside the Dublin Library, Civic Center, Shannon Community Center, and The Wave from April 26 to May 3.
Compost Giveaway
Saturday, April 26 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Emerald Glen Park.
Dublin residents will receive one bag of free compost on Dublin Pride Volunteer Week. The drive-through event will take place in the parking lot of Emerald Glen Park. ID or proof of residency is required.
Prescription Drug Take-Back/Document Shredding/E-Waste Collection Event
Saturday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dublin Civic Center.
Dublin Police Services will accept only prescription pills, tablets, capsules, and other solid forms of prescription drugs. Residents can also drop off e-waste and use a document shredding truck.
Poster and Essay Contest
Dublin K-12 students are invited to create essays and posters that illustrate Dublin Pride Week's 2025 Theme of "Our City, Our Pride." Students can drop off submissions with their teachers, or at the Dublin Civic Center. Submission deadline April 14. See here for more information.
People of the Parks
Volunteering in Dublin doesn't have to be limited to a single day. Residents, businesses, and organizations can participate in People of the Parks in order to help keep the city clean and green. See here for more information and registration.
