Dublin Residents Eligible For Used Textile Pickup

DUBLIN, CA — Amador Valley Industries is collecting used textiles from Dublin residents the week of July 3-7. Residents who would like to schedule a pickup should call AVI at 925-479-9545 at least a week ahead of the pickup.

Acceptable textiles include clothing for all ages, shoes for all ages, bedding, towels and stuffed animals. Any textiles that are wet or moldy, have waste, blood or toxic chemicals, or are too worn to be used again will not be accepted.

Residents should place textiles in a clear plastic bag, and leave the bag on the curb before 5:30 a.m. on the day of scheduled collection. They will be picked up by a separate driver who may arrive earlier or later than the usual pickup time. Residents of multifamily complexes should speak to the property manager to schedule a pickup time.
