Dublin's The Wave To Hold Job Fair Saturday

DUBLIN, CA — Dublin's water park The Wave is recruiting lifeguards, swim instructors, slide attendants, and recreation aides for its summer 2022 season. The center will hold a job fair on Saturday from 10 to 3. All job fair attendees will be able to apply, interview, and receive information on how to become a member of the team.

Applicants must be 15 or older to apply.

Any applicant who receives a job offer will receive free training and certification.

Applicants applying to be a lifeguard or swim instructor will need to complete a 300-yard swim, tread water for two minutes, and retrieve a 10-pound brook from the bottom of the 7-foot pool and bring it back to the wall.

Lifeguards and swim instructors can expect starting pay of $17/hour. Slide attendants can expect $15, and recreation aides $16.
