Ranjini Venkatachari is a fine artist with more than 15 years experience working primarily in the medium of colored pencil and draws inspiration from her rich cultural heritage. Her home studio is based in San Ramon, California and she has recently decided to expand her artistic footprint locally by participating in the Dublin Arts Collective Members Show titled 'No Boundaries'.
Her vibrant and colorful art has been exhibited in both national and international shows across the US and has also been published in the American Artist, the International Artist, American Art collector and the Southwest arts magazines.
The Dublin Arts Collective 'No Boundaries' theme is the brainchild of Show Chair, artist and DAC Member Julia Tomtania, who is also an arts commissioner for the City of Dublin. "We are building our community of artists in Dublin and surrounding areas, and excited to create a chance to see all our work together, without boundaries," said Julia "There is no judging for this show, the award is being together, meeting each other and building community".

Most recently, Ranjini’s illustration was selected as part of a curated show, MUJER (Celebrating Women’s day by PoetsandArtists) and is headed to the moon in as part of The Lunar Codex time capsule organized by Dr.Samuel Peralta! The San Ramon City Council recently approved Ms Venkatachari as an alternate on the city's Arts Advisory Committee which consists of seven regular members and two alternate seats.
She is passionate about the arts, in particular the visual arts, and is seeking to gather like-minded creative individuals together in the City of San Ramon who are interested in meeting on a regular basis for networking, professional development and to discuss topics relevant to artists in the area.
“Artist thrive when they have a tribe to connect too!" says Ranjini. "Even though creating art is a solo sport, having a community to share your ideas - connecting with inspiring and encouraging artists creates a very productive and enriching environment. Being part of a group is a great source of encouragement, connections, critique, mentoring and information. In looking at each other we can see what is possible, and dare to reach even beyond that.”
Artists interested in talking to Ranjini are welcome to attend the opening reception for 'No Boundaries' on November 4th at 7pm at the Frame Company and Art Gallery in Village Parkway Dublin. The event is free and open to the public.
