Super Bowl LI: AAA Offering Free Rides Home to Tipsy Revelers Sunday

Whether you're drinking in celebration, despair or indifference, AAA is offering free "tipsy tows" to people who consume too much alcohol this Sunday during the Super Bowl. Anyone who drinks too much and shouldn't get behind the wheel - regardless of whether that person is a AAA member or not - can call to get a free ride home for both themselves and their car as long as the destination is within ten miles.

The one-way service starts at 6 p.m. Sunday and ends at 5 a.m. Monday and can be accessed by dialing (800) 222-4357.

"Everybody wants to have fun at a Super Bowl party," AAA spokeswoman Cynthia Harris said in a statement. "But be aware that as little as one drink can impair vision, steering, braking, judgment and reaction
time."
