Tri-Valley Artist Studio Tour (TVAST) Returns for 2023
This weekend, 64 artists from across the Tri-Valley will be displaying art at fifteen locations and the event is open to the public

The Tri-Valley Artist Studio Tour (TVAST) returns to Dublin, Danville, Livermore and Pleasanton on the weekend of May 6th and 7th.
The event is organized by the Alliance for the Visual Arts (AVA) , a nonprofit led by painter Dennis Baker, who is the recipient of the 2022 Alameda County Arts Leadership Award. AVA's mission is to promote the visual arts in the Tri-Valley by bringing artists together, supporting art organizations, connecting artists with the communities, publishing visual art happenings and providing a free online site for artists to display their work.

TVAST is one of the ways that the organization achieves its goals and will feature 64 artists in 15 locations and is open to the public. The locations include Public Art Studios, Pop up Artist Venues, Private Home Studios, and Art Groups/ Collectives throughout the Tri-Valley. Seasoned artists in addition to high school and college students will be displaying and selling artwork and each location will have its own unique vibe.

The public will have the opportunity to engage directly with artists and will have the opportunity to see a wide range of artwork, including paintings, sculptures, photography, and mixed media. Visitors will be able to ask questions, learn about the artists' backgrounds and inspirations, and even purchase artwork directly from the artists themselves.
One of the highlights of the tour will be the live art demonstrations. Visitors will be able to watch as artists create their work in real time. This is a great opportunity to see the creative process in action and to ask questions about techniques.
