Victory for Dublin Martial Arts School at 2025 Tournament

Kuk Sool Won of Dublin has once again proven its excellence on the mat, bringing home top honors at the 2025 Pacific Coast Tournament held in Yuba City. The prestigious annual event, hosted by the World Kuk Sool Association (WKSA), drew competitors from across the region.

Students of all ages showcased their mastery in traditional Korean martial arts, competing in open-hand and weapons forms with precision, discipline, and true martial spirit. Among them were dedicated practitioners from Dublin’s martial arts academy, whose outstanding performance earned the school the coveted Championship Flag.

“This victory reflects the relentless effort, focus, and commitment of our students,” said Master Saidi, one of only seven 8th Dahn Masters worldwide. “I'm incredibly proud of how they trained, competed, and supported one another with respect and heart.”

Master Saidi, a martial artist with over 40 years of experience, continues to inspire excellence through values rooted in Kuk Sool Won—respect, etiquette, perseverance, and self-discipline. His passion for teaching and building character is evident in every student, from white belts to black belts.

This year's event was especially meaningful, as Master Saidi's sons, KSN Seyd Rahim and KSN Hamza, were promoted to second Dahn—highlighting the school’s deep family-centered culture.

Kuk Sool Won of Dublin has a lot to celebrate including four Grand Champions KSN James, JKN Michelle, KSN Hamza and JKN Kayden and the promotion of PKJN William Hunt to 5th Dahn, in addition to the school’s 35th anniversary.

The journey continues—stronger, united, and focused on excellence.
