Visual Art Society of San Ramon Presents Second Annual Juried Exhibition: Nature’s Whispers

San Ramon, CA — September 2025 — The Visual Art Society of San Ramon (VASS) is proud to announce its Second Annual Juried Art Exhibition, Nature’s Whispers, opening at the Dougherty Arts Center. The community is invited to attend the Artist Reception on Friday, September 19, from 5:00–7:00 PM to celebrate the work of local and Tri-Valley artists.

This year’s exhibition drew over 100 entries, with 50 outstanding works selected by jury to be featured. Nature’s Whispers highlights a broad spectrum of artistic styles and mediums, unified by a shared inspiration: the beauty and diversity of the natural world.

People’s Choice Award

In addition to the juried selections, VASS is engaging the community with a People’s Choice Award. Beginning tomorrow at the Dougherty Arts Center, visitors will have the opportunity to cast their vote for their favorite artwork using an onsite ballot box. The award will be announced during the Artist Reception, making community participation a central part of this celebration.

A Celebration of Local Creativity

Featuring works from over 30 talented artists, Nature’s Whispers reflects the creative spirit of San Ramon and the wider Tri-Valley area. The show provides a platform for both emerging and established artists to connect with the public, offering fresh perspectives on how nature influences and inspires artistic practice.
