Wind Advisory in Effect for East Bay Wednesday Night: NWS
BREAKING: Winds could result in downed trees and power lines.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for the San Francisco Bay and Monterey Bay areas that will take effect tonight. The advisory will be in effect from 10 p.m. until 3 a.m. Friday.
According to the National Weather Service, wind gusts could reach 40 mph in lower elevations. Gusts could reach 50 mph near the coast and in the hills.
Winds could result in downed trees and power lines, and make driving conditions difficult, NWS officials said.
