Comment of the Week: "It was giant week at Purple Twig. What amazing creative little artists. "
Check out the best, funniest, strangest and most informative things our readers have to say.

We take pride in our work here at Patch and always strive to bring our readers interesting news. However, we must admit, sometimes the most interesting part of a great Patch story is the comments from readers that it sparks.
Typically this post is a round up of comments from the Northeast L.A. and Hollywood Patch sites. This week I'm highlighting comments from one story where readers helped shed some light on a small mystery.
'Giantess Jemima' Signs Appear on Colorado
A number of signs were spotted on power poles and trees along the sidewalk of the 2100 block of Colorado Boulevard, several stores east of Swork. Designs included a yellow-faced figure with green eyes and warned readers to be wary of "giantess Jemima," who is said to be 100,000 feet tall, with "rough feet," and is holding the Statue of Liberty in its right hand.
It appeared to be the work of the creative minds who visit Purple Twig. Thanks to reader Samara and reader eaglerocker who filled us in.

eaglerocker August 04, 2013 at 10:23 PM Looks like the work of those subversive rug-rats at Purple Twig. I'll bet the little hippies ride tricycles, too.
