Four Café Outpost to Sprout in Fairfax July 1
Eagle Rock's widely loved seasonal-food restaurant is branching out into L.A.

Last month, at the Land Use Committee meeting of the Eagle Rock Neighborhood Council, a representative of one of the ER’s most popular restaurants—Four Café—gave a brief presentation about the eatery’s plans to get a license to sell beer and wine.
The representative, Troy Petersen, also mentioned something that will surely be a pleasant surprise to devotees of the fresh, Farmers Market-procured organic food that Four Café specializes in: The Colorado Boulevard restaurant is opening a branch in the Fairfax area of Los Angeles—the surest sign, if one were needed, of how well Four Café has done in the nearly three years since it was launched by chef-owner Michelle Wilton and her artist-owner spouse Corey Wilton.
And now, it’s official: Eater L.A. reports that Four Café’s new outpost will open July 1, replacing the Black Cat Bakery in Fairfax. The new restaurant is reportedly a partnership between the Wiltons and Petersen and his spouse Myra—the latter couple are said to own Caputo’s Market in Salt Lake City.
As Four Café does in Eagle Rock, its Fairfax location will serve lunch and dinner seven days a week, along with breakfast on weekends.
