"All Ears Bandit" Tied to Saturday's Attempted Bank Robbery
The FBI has released surveillance photos of the suspect, who may have attempted two other robberies in Bell and Carson.

One was at a Citibank on March 12 in Bell Gardens. The other was at another Bank of America in Carson on March 14.
Dubbed "The All Ears Bandit" by law enforcement, the suspect came in to the Echo Park Bank of America just after 1 p.m. on Saturday and slipped a teller a note saying he had a gun and demanding money.

According to Lourdes Arocho of the FBI's Los Angeles office, the suspect used a similar note in both the Bell Gardens and Carson incidents.
The suspect fled the Echo Park bank without taking any money.

LAPD detectives spent about two hours in the Echo Park BofA branch Saturday interviewing witnesses. They coordinated their efforts with the FBI, who helped link the suspect to the other robberies.
According to Arocho, the suspect also fled the Carson Bank of America without any cash. Arocho could not confirm how much was taken in Bell Gardens.
The suspect is believed to be a Latino male in his late 20s or early 30s. Anyone with information about the suspect should call FBI Special Agent Steve May at (310) 477-6565. A reward is being offered.
