Body Found In Silver Lake Apartment Fire
After putting out a fire in a third story apartment, firefighters found a person dead inside the home.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A person was found dead Friday evening inside a Silver Lake apartment where a fire broke out.
The fire was reported about 7:35 p.m. in a third-floor unit of a four- story apartment building in the 2800 block of Riverside Drive, near Glendale Boulevard, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Thirty-four firefighters responded and put out the fire in less than 15 minutes, Humphrey said.

"One person was found dead within the burning apartment," Humphrey said.
The victim's age and gender were not immediately available, according to Humphrey, who said the cause of both the fire and victim's death were under investigation.
